We love gallery crawls. Like, we really, really love them, and try to go to as many as we can. Sure, we love looking at the art (some of which is very good, and some of which is still fun because it’s terrible), and of course we love sampling the snacks and evaluating which galleries supplied the finest, but we have another secret love at gallery crawls: we love being snarky about the hipsters.
I know, I know, this sounds hypocritical, and maybe it is, but nothing makes us giggle more some times than rating beards and making PBR jokes. I believe Stanford Blatch said it best when he said, “Some people do arts and crafts, we judge. It’s what we do!”
Anyway, we decided we wanted to act like snobby, apathetic hipsters once, and what better place to do it than Garfield Artworks on a First Friday!
Jenn can’t believe they ran out of PBR; she only showed up like an hour and a half late.
Michael is appalled that his frenemy would show up in the same corduroy grandpa pants as him.
